Shannon Campbell
DVM, MRCVS
I grew up in Texas and earned a bachelor’s degree in Marine Sciences from Texas A&M University at Galveston. I worked as a geophysicist and moved abroad to live and work in London. I decided to retrain as a veterinarian after volunteering on a London city farm for a year. I found enjoyment teaching the community about animals and enjoyed learning about each species and their specific husbandry and care. I attended the Royal Veterinary College where I decided to further specialise in surgery. Following graduation, I moved back to the US and completed a rotating internship in Annapolis, Maryland and a surgical internship in St. Louis.
My family lives in Kansas City and when I am not working, I like to spend time with them. I enjoy running outdoors, travel, the arts and reading.
